An outstanding porthole case, German made from a ww1 1916 howitzer shell, married with a ship porthole to make a ship instrument waterproof case that apparently was used back on a war ship, the case has been drilled for the necessary wiring for the instrument, the case measures 7” wide x 4”, the porthole window opens fine and has no damage, a great unique piece
