An outstanding pair of Japanese Meiji period, satsuma vases, made in Japan c1890-1910 and from a nice creamy porcelain with the usual tight crackle to the glaze as you would expect to see, and the artwork is outstanding and depicts peacocks set in a rural setting of trees, flowers and other foliage that are all extremely well detailed and including the awesome gold work to, the size is good at 10” high and are signed to the underside with satsuma marks that are correct despite one being un readable, and both are in great antique condition, a couple of mild stains only no damage or wear and are ready to display and enjoy
