A stunning chinoiserie vintage side table, round form and has a black lacquered finish with inlaid mother of pearl, on a wood/paper mache construction, made in Japan in the first half of the 20th century, the table has ornate legs that taper in on the way down to support a small shelf also with a mother of pearl design, good condition with very mild wear and signs of use and a few small scratches that are not very noticeable at all, the table stands 26” high and has i small raised lip to the edge of the table, again with more inlayed mother of pearl in a neat pattern around the rim, a great piece ready to go * we do have more items in this type design/pattern, a small side cupboard (in the shop, and a rare pair of garden type stools (not listed at present).
