An outstanding example of an antique Japanese bronze ,late 19th to early twentieth century, its in the form of a tray or plaque and in a double oval shape, it’s cold to the touch and heavy too, the very detailed landscape scene is what really makes this piece quite special, it shows a family of ten at play in a landscape setting, with bamboo and other foliage to one side and an upper hanging display, to the outside of the rim is more small and detailed designs, then to the rear you can see the hand working evidence and even this has been decorated with beautiful and tiny flowers, condition wise it’s in a good antique condition some tiny marks here and there, the rim is slightly out of shape in places, tiny scratches, a rare and unique piece ready to go This piece measures 9.4” wide x 8” deep
