A stunning pair of Chinese vase/lamps, made around mid twentieth century, late republic maybe, a great looking pair in their soft yellow ground with mostly a botanical design with birds, tastefully done, the lamps were converted not long after they were new, poss around 1960’s, the switches and metal vase top are kept original, although rewired so these are not in use now but have a great original look and we love the patina around the switch area, they are very large and heavy too, each lamp measures 38” at highest setting or can be lowered easily, modern antique bulbs are included, ready to display and use
