A stunning antique blotter, this wonderful piece is like the outside of a book, and like a folder if you like, that you would have kept your blotting paper, to use whilst writing, this unique piece though is quite special and gas has had a quality oil on a brass panel, with a window effect and showing a lady collecting hay and showing a sickle, a super authentic one off piece, made in the 19th century and is in good antique condition, some scratches, inside is also very interesting as the inner coverings are loose and could do with re gluing, usually we would do this before listing but between the panels is a hidden photo of a man and woman, quite mysterious so we decided to leave it in stuck as more information could be obtained about the piece and the artwork on the front, a fascinating item ready to go
