An awesome pair of antique Japanese, lacquered bronze vases, made around the turn of the last century, late Meiji period to early Taisho period, very nicely crafted, the vases stand 10” high and have detailed mythical dragons to each side of the vase necks, these are in bare bronze with the rest of the vase is lacquered, the antique condition is good, some minor wear ie- a couple of tiny bits of lacquer missing, a couple of tiny dents or product defects, metal on the foot out of shape in areas, overall good though as pics show, they are both showing beautiful botanical outdoor senes, and more dragons and birds to the upper part, they have a great look and can hold flowers, ready to display and enjoy
