An awesome antique bronze Tara Buddha, and a good size at 10” high, the Buddha has a great antique patina and remnants of red enamel that the monks like to decorate their statues in particular colours with religious meanings usually this might be blue or red, this particular Tara is seated on a stylised lotus base and is wearing a crown, particularly popular during the Ming yongle period although I think this one is a bit later c19th /20th century, great condition other than patina or wear to gold and red decoration, a great piece ready to display and enjoy
